A standard car inspection from Green Bean Auto costs $250 (fixed price) and is carried out on-site anywhere across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie by a Fully Licensed Motor Vehicle Repairer (MVRL60337). It includes a diagnostic scan, road test and a written report with photos, so you can negotiate or walk away with evidence.

How much does a standard inspection cost?
A standard inspection costs $250. You can add a PPSR check for $15 or a high-detail condition report for $25.
What do you check on a standard inspection?
Mechanical condition and leaks; Diagnostic scan for stored fault codes; Brakes, tyres, steering and suspension; Body, paint, interior and road test. Every inspection also covers the engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, body, interior and electrics, a diagnostic scan and a road test.
Where do you carry out the inspection?
We come to the vehicle at the seller's home, a dealership or a workplace anywhere across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Locations 30 minutes or more away each way attract a $125 extended travel fee.
What do I receive afterwards?
