Bookings

A booking enquiry is confirmed once we agree a time with you and, where relevant, the seller. You are responsible for arranging the seller's permission for the inspection.

Prices

Prices are as published on our pricing page at the time of booking. Electric and hybrid vehicle prices are confirmed before booking. Extended travel of 30 minutes or more each way attracts a $125 fee.

What the inspection covers

An inspection reports on the condition of the vehicle on the day, based on what can reasonably be checked on-site by a licensed mechanic, including a diagnostic scan and road test where permitted.

Limits of an inspection

An inspection is not a warranty or guarantee of future performance, and it cannot detect every fault, particularly intermittent faults or problems inside components that are not dismantled.

Access

If the vehicle is not available, not accessible or the seller declines the inspection at the agreed time, we'll contact you to rebook.

Your report

The report is prepared for you. Please don't rely on it for a different vehicle or after significant time has passed.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
