Green Bean Auto’s pre-purchase 4WD inspections will determine if the vehicle you’re looking to buy has been pushed to its limits. This will likely mean you’ll inherit the car’s mechanical wear, tear, and breakages if it has.
As a part of our standard checks, we look for signs of boat and watercraft launching, including salt rust. We check for heavy ground contact from off-roading and bush-bashing. We make notes of aftermarket accessories and their quality, as well as 4WD high/low function, hub locks and more. We also review the logbook history to ensure the vehicle has had regular services or required minor/significant repairs. You’ll get a complete overview of the vehicle’s condition so you can decide if it’s the right fit for you.
Buying a 4WD could be viewed in the same way as buying a house. You’ll either buy something that’s been well looked after or buy a fixer-upper that requires greater financial upkeep.
